Clubs and Committees

Hackberry Creek Special Interest Clubs

The Hackberry Creek Women's Club and Men's Club are run by residents and are open to all adult residents of Hackberry Creek. These clubs are involved in a variety of special interest groups and social activities. 

 

Hackberry Creek Committees

Committees are board-approved volunteer opportunities that support the mission, vision, and purpose of the Hackberry Creek Community. If you are interested in holding a leadership position on one of these committees please reach out to the specific committee members or a member of the Village team. 

Hackberry Creek Women's Club

The Women's Club is a social organization that provides the means for the women of Hackberry Creek to get to know one another in a variety of social settings to build relationships and lifelong friendships. This club holds monthly meetings (August-May) at the Hackberry Creek Country Club. This group delivers welcome baskets to all new Hackberry Creek residents and is involved in a variety of social groups and special interest activities.

Safety & Security Committee

The Safety & Security Committee members meet regularly to discuss resident concerns and work with the Board to implement strategies to increase community security at entrances, as well as provide recommendations on the safety of residents and children in the neighborhood.  If you'd like to be involved, click the "I'm Interested!" button at the top of the page or email us here.

Yard of the Month Committee

The Yard of the Month Committee tours the neighborhood once a month and selects a winner.  The time commitment is minimal but it's a great way to get involved!  We are currently looking for 3-5 committee members.  If you are interested in serving, click the "I'm Interested!" button at the top of the page or email us here.

Communications Committee

The Communications Committee is tasked with coordinating content for the Hackberry Creek Living Magazine and assisting the onsite staff and Board of Directors in the messaging and dissemination of information to the community about various initiatives. Hackberry Creek Men's Club

The Men's Club organizes a variety of neighborhood parties as well as special activities such as poker nights, golf outings, and trips to sporting events.

Community Events Committee

The Community Events Committee is actually a compilation of several small groups who coordinate various community events throughout the year.  There are multiple opportunities to get involved to assist with events like - Taste of Hackberry - 4th of July - National Night Out - Halloween - and more! Bylaws Committee

The Bylaws Committee is an ad-hoc committee tasked with garnering input from residents and provide recommendations to the Board on needed changes to the Governing Documents (specifically the Bylaws).
